 Android 1.1 released on 9 February 2009 it is update version of Android 1.0 and  it introduces with HTC Dream.

Android 1.1 was known as "Petit Four" internally but this is not a official name. It has some update in version and change the Android  APL (Application programming interface) and added some number of new features.

     

It has detail and reviews available when a user searches for businesses on Map, save attachment in messages, call screen was longer when speakerphone is in used, and ability to show and hide dialpad.

Android 1.5 Cupcake

Android 1.5 update was released on 30 April 2009, this version based on Linux karnel 2.6.27.  Cupcake was the first officially used name based on dessert.In this version some new  features and UI amendment was added.

This was first version to support third-party virtual keyboards with text prediction and user dictionary for custom word.Video recording and playback in MPEG-4 and 3GP formats, copy and paste feature added into web browser, ability to upload video to YuoTube and picture into Picasa , autoratation option and many more feature added this version.
